Turtles conservation points located on the Southern Coast of Sri Lanka. Along the Bentota-Mirissa highway.
The Turtle Hatchery is a sanctuary dedicated to the conservation and rehabilitation of sea turtles. Out of the seven species of sea turtles found globally, five can be observed here. This hatchery serves as a safe haven for baby turtles, providing a nurturing environment where they can grow and thrive. The primary objective is to rehabilitate these young turtles and, once they are mature enough, release them back into the sea, contributing to the preservation of these endangered species.

The Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home located a few miles away from Udawalawa National park.
This is an elephant orphanage run by the Sri Lanka Department of Wildlife, and it is a safe haven for Baby elephant orphaned. Their main objective is after rehabilitate the elephant pups have grown up, release back into the wild.
